Background

With a proven track record of supporting industry leaders such as Adobe, Zendesk, and Dataiku, we continue to experience a growing demand for our expertise from technology and data sector providers.

Our expanding portfolio of collaborations is deepening our knowledge and experience in these industries, particularly through our involvement in major trade shows. As our reputation grows, we remain committed to delivering world-class support for global firms across their international event programmes.

For those unfamiliar with Data Centre World (DCW), it is one of the most significant gatherings in the technology industry, bringing together leading experts and cutting-edge innovations in one place over two dynamic days.

In the months leading up to our increased involvement with clients exhibiting at DCW – including Anord Mardix and Equans, whom we have supported for several years at DCW London, Paris, and Frankfurt – we were approached and appointed by CBS (Critical Business Solutions) to develop a custom-designed presence for DCW London 2025.

CBS is a leading specialist in electrical installations, fire protection, life safety, and security systems within the critical infrastructure market.

Project Overview

CBS leveraged our core expertise in delivering cost-effective and custom-designed modular solutions for global brands. Increasingly, businesses are prioritising reusability and modular design in their event spaces to achieve greater sustainability and cost efficiency.

Our approach helps clients like CBS maximise the lifespan of their exhibition stand – not just for a single event but over an extended period. We encourage planning for at least one year’s worth of trade shows, with a preferred three-year strategy to optimise investment and minimise waste.

A challenge for CBS at DCW London was integrating all key features and functionality within a relatively compact exhibition space. To ensure success, we focused on delivering a visually striking presence while strategically investing in stand features and visitor engagement.

For example, two key investments that CBS made included 1) the idea to custom-design and create high end retail-style bespoke product display units to showcase CBS technical product equipment, and 2) reusable graphic walls for ease of reconfiguration across different stand sizes and layouts at future shows.

Leveraging our expertise, we developed a custom-designed and built stand for CBS that can be dismantled, stored, adapted, and repurposed for future exhibitions, ensuring we are making every effort to operate with our clients in a sustainable way.

Having previously designed and stored exhibition spaces for Anord Mardix and Equans at past Data Centre World events, both companies once again entrusted us with repurposing and enhancing their stands for DCW 2025, retaining the emphasis on subsequent reuse to support minimising waste as a key requirement of the project.
